TURIN: Juventus are reportedly ready to offer Cristiano Ronaldo to Paris Saint Germain (PSG) for Mauro Icardi this season.
Ronaldo’s contract has only one year left and he faces uncertainty about his future with the Serie A giants, not to mention that new Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri is said to be planning to make a reshuffle before the season begins.
French media, L’Equipe stated Ronaldo will be part of a reshuffle that Juventus will undergo as the team aims to sign long -term target, Icardi.
Juventus have long wanted the Argentine striker but missed out on his services last season when he joined PSG.
Ronaldo’s contract is currently worth 3.8 million pounds a month but Juventus may struggle to offer a new contract to the player following the impact of the coronavirus.
They risk missing out on Ronaldo for free if they fail to reach an agreement before the end of next season thus making the exchange with Icardi a move that feels appropriate.
