LONDON: Danish boss Kasper Hjulmand insists his men are not afraid to face England – as they have already met four points to death.
Hjulmand revealed the incident of Christian Eriksen facing heart problems stopped on the pitch to be the biggest motivation to help the team advance to the quarterfinals.
Denmark created their own ‘fairy tale’ after losing the first two group stage games and advancing to the ‘enough is enough to eat’ knockout round and now the players have a mission to win for Eriksen’s sake.
“We are already facing death in a way I did not expect. We almost lost the best players, good friends, team pillars and fighting with crazy emotions.
“We didn’t know what to do and how to deal with it. We struggled as best we could with the emotions we had. We played fantastically.
